What is Holistic Pelvic Care?
Holistic Pelvic Care combines gentle, internal massage of the pelvic muscles with energetic and emotional balancing techniques focusing on the fascial alignment. Muscles of the pelvic bowl can become tightened, stressed or imbalanced like any other muscles and the fascia less dynamic. These techniques help re-establish core strength and vitality, increase blood flow to the pelvic organs, decrease problematic symptoms and cultivate core resonance of the pelvic bowl so that a woman has access to the medicine she contains.
Course topics will include:
Mapping internal pelvic tension patterns
Restoring equilibrium in the pelvic space
Working with the internal fascia to restore organ alignment and physical balance in the pelvic bowl
Moving energies held in the pelvic space and clearing trauma imprints
Enhancing core creative vitality as a key to women’s wellness.
Creating energetic balance in the pelvic space during pregnancy (deepening the bond between mother/baby and preparing for childbirth)
Specific and essential care for postpartum & post-miscarriage
Techniques to address delivery traumas and bonding disruptions
You will also learn how to enhance your creativity and replenish your own female energy system as a provider.
The course is suitable for manual therapy/healthcare providers such as osteopaths, nurses, midwives, physical therapists, chiropractors, oriental medicine practitioners, doulas, massage therapists, yoga teachers, naturopaths etc. but you might have to check your insurance for the internal work part of it.
